Sushi ginger is a Japanese traditionally pickled ginger called Gari. Pickled ginger has a white, pink or pale yellow hue that naturally occurs during the pickling process. The burning, pungent taste of ginger is complemented by sweet and sour notes of marinade. Picked sushi ginger could be served with sushi, spring rolls or smoked fish, added into noodles, salads or Ahi tuna dip. Ingredients: It is made from sweet, thinly sliced young ginger that has been marinated in a solution of sugar and vinegar.
